This is roughly 100 frames long. I did this in the car on a road trip near September 15, 2013. The gif starts with a cat lazily chasing a fly, who's chased by a dog, who's chased by its owner. The fly lazily drifts behind them, and then the cat pops up and licks the "camera lens" with his tongue for the end screen.

In my book, when Kael is about 6, his father just died and he wants to cheer up his widowed mom with pretty flowers. It's in the middle of winter though, so he almost drowned trying to get them. I haven't animated yet how he got out of this situation. You can learn more about this in my book's website! :) Part 1 Kael explains to the viewer/reader, what he's doing and why he's doing it. He explains the risks, but why he's doing it anyway.
