alagon -

aloidia - Category. an extremely powerful spirit who is even more powerful than a spirit of dimokre. (See dimokre and yellow-eyes for more information.) They are responsible for helping the world and universe function. such as sleep, balance, chaos, death, life, darkness, light, procrastination, etc. Also called "legends."

angel - part of the angel-devil spirit species. fluffy wings, melodious voice, and halo. They're all that's perfect and good in this world... or at least arrogant and think they do.

anim-latic - a spirit who is part animal. such as firefox, fox, manta ray, wolf, etc.

antine -

ashtake - a gem used in weapons typically to make the weapon be more powerful based on the user's mood. it changes with color to depict the Emotion. EX: Sarah's sword.

B

blood seeker - large creature that has a following and hunts humans with his keen sense of smell. Very dangerous, fast, and relentless. Once green smoke exits his prey's mouth, they're as good as dead. The top smell he can't resist is the smell of his own blood, so he has very tough armor on his soft body.

 

brethnesk - non-derogatory term for a replica. copy of a human or part human. type of forget-me-not fairy. they share their 'original's' memories too. Their names are similar - spelled the same but pronounced differently. Their personalities are usually different than their human counterpart however.​

book of life - an important book that helps Michael and Sarah later. Spoilers!

caline - powerful substance in potions. usually a yellow powder

​

Claimer - a slave spirit, that is often forced to inject claimer’s ink into a master. in theory, they choose their master, but they are often forced to do so.

​

Claimer's ink - a substance that a type of slave creature uses to claim their master. However, creatures that use this are typically forced to do so, like how a snake is 'milked' for poison to create antidotes. they're forced to claim a master.

​

clanjon - a spirit species that are very strong and are often referred to as "the blacksmiths of the spirit realm."

Counter - tool used to measure how powerful memories are; measures in memo-watts; composed of many parts including a spoel and a cangal

demon - a red- eyed creature that is evil and wants to bring harm to others. Some aren't completely evil, but all of them are at least selfish. Part devil - part humans are a completely different story

​

devil - part of the devil angel species. Devils have bat wings, super strength, horns (sometimes), and fangs when angry.

​

dimokre - an important color of each spirit "world" (actually a portal, not the world itself)  across the globe. an extremely powerful spirit in the yellow world, for example, is nicknamed as a yellow-eye.

​

distortion spirit - nearly invisible creature that distorts everything that's behind the creature.

​

dream spirit - often mistaken for a mosquito. It bites the host, usually a spirit, and it sucks their blood for food, just like a mosquito does. However, it also injects its waste into the host's body, which gives a daydream to the host that is so vivid the host thinks it was real. The dream typically has to do with the last thoughts the host had.

​

dragon - guardians of different elements of the whole world. different from the hourglass cave because they protect it. hourglasses keep it going.

etierh - the second color in the ashtake - that shows the sword's reaction/emotions to the user's.

​

elementist - a spirit with powers of an element, such as fire, ice, earth, plant, water, air, etc. similar to a naturalist.

fairy – a small human-like creature with wings. several different types, such as healing and forget-me-not.

 

firefox – a type of anim-latic that can turn into a fox and can control fire.

flufoid - a very obnoxious, talkative pink bird-like spirit. think: flamingo with ostrich legs, no wings, and huge feathers on top of his head. the feathers have immortal strands inside their DNA.

​

forget-me-not fairy - a kind of fairy that specializes in making forget-me dust, used to make humans forget about the spirit world. The fairies live in the flowers for which they are named.

​

gakilath - currency holder. usually a gem.

​

genie - a magical being that can grant 3 wishes. usually captive in a container. tricky.

​

glass spirit - a spirit that is unintentionally manmade. A glass spirit is born every time a window gets cracked.

grass spirit - a tiny blade of grass that is actually a spirit. Like its adoptive mother ground, he tries to be grumpy too.

ground spirit - a spirit that is basically a platform that looks like the regular ground. They are very grumpy creatures and do not appreciate being stepped on... even though they are almost always in their ground form - without their legs extended.

hourglass of power - hourglasses in the Mummy's cave. keeps life of the world going. One for each kind of habitat.

​

hunter - minion of the Huntress. different from the Hunter. hunters are just mindless drones that do whatever the Huntress demands them too. She can control them without a single word. They use very light guns. Can smell and hear perfectly. Most except for the higher up ones, don’t have a face and can’t talk. basically, her hound dogs.

luezould - a blob-like cloud that surrounds the brain that a shadow forms when a shadow overshadows an animal, creature, spirit, human, etc.

​

lunner - a very common meal with spirits. very late lunch - between lunch and dinner. breakfast is usually later, so lunch is too.

​

limnic berries - delicious to taste but vomit-inducing to smell. It's the plant's defense system. The limnic bush has glowing, deep purple berries.

​

memory camera - a camera that has a needle for the user to prick their finger on. Using the DNA, the camera displays the memory the user types in.

​

merfolk – mermaids are females, and mermen are males. creatures that can breathe underwater. usually have fish’s tail instead of legs. skin color, hair color, gills, and other features varies from merperson to merperson

​

mud spirit – a type of spirit that is an earth creature. it’s a very slow moving creature, but extremely dangerous if you’re careless. typically feasts on dead creatures that obviously can’t move anymore. However, it can sneak up and feast on a careless animal as well. Once it secures a creature’s feet, it will stretch itself and climb up, making a cocoon around the prey’s body. it then eats it.

naturalist - a spirit with powers that derive from nature. such as thunder, rain, lightning, day, night, etc. They cannot control the whole world, like an aloidia could. For example, a dragon or an aloidia that is weather related controls the whole world's weather. A naturalist has weather powers, but can't control weather that's far away from them - and definitely not the whole world.

pepelexa - a magical flower. pepelexa orgethus is a magical flower that looks like lillies. its pollen causes a faint purple glow. It's used in many magical potions typically. but the smell is also whatever the picker wants. so it's good for gifts as well. However, they die within seconds after being picked. In order to take it from the wild, you need to take the roots and plant it

Revived Evellic - a term used to describe a person that was good, but then had a turning point where he or she became evil. often used to describe the Huntress.

Scavengers - They basically work for my character, Death. There are different kinds of scavengers, but this one is one that takes woodland creature's souls. So a fox died, and scavengers become the dead animal. The scavenger's eyes are glowing since he's using powerful magic. His hand is taking the soul, which is the faint glowing green ball behind the dead fox. I didn't want it to be the focus of the piece, so it made the soul very tiny. I used the paint tool and changed the opacity for the blood

size spirit - a large blob of a spirit. It's a transparent, slightly tinted colored glob. The color only comes when they walk through a person. The creature they just passed over will changed size permanently, and the size spirit is the size the victim used to be. That's how they 'eat'. even though no technical harm happened to the victim, but they will be permanently sized unless they go through the size spirit. Usually the spirit disappears into the ground like mud spirits do in order to keep this from happening.

shadow spirit – a dark creature. usually evil. one shadow is good though. They help the Shadow King occasionally, but for the most part they’re a unique creature that only does what they want. can read minds, control people (called overshadowing), change/erase/make memories, and have no tangibility. they typically do anything from a harmless prank to mercilessly ruining a person’s life – all for fun.

sprite – a creature like a fairy. usually without wings and representing some kind of plant. very nuisance pests.

​

temptation spirit - a type of spirit that feeds on a person's insecurities about themselves and forces the victim to believe that it is true. a very rare spirit, and incredibly powerful. thinks less than an animal however; they act more like a virus.

​

trainer – a type of amulet that helps control powers. it acts like training wheels while a kid is learning to ride a bike

​

truipy - a type of amulet that allows the wearer to protect their mind from anything that can read thoughts.

​

unicorn – a majestic, horse-like creature with a horn anywhere on its body - usually it's on the unicorn's forehead but not always. Ground up, horns and hooves are powerful ingredients in potions

yellow-eyes - a spirit who, funny enough, has yellow eyes. very powerful in the yellow spirit "world". see dimokre for more information on the color significance. The main yellow-eyes are the spirit queen, huntress, healing woman, and the witch.
